Today, I have decided to sneak in a little interview about RubyCP asking Ryan the co-owner a few questions about it’s future and so. The current event they are having is the music jam, which sounds pretty cool and fun. Let’s begin with the interview —
What have you had in mind for some future updates on RubyCP or if there are any?
“We have a party planned for July 2nd, we’re also going to be continuing combining older styled and modern CP rooms together soon and we may implement some features like private messaging, etc. We are also working on making custom catalogs and other custom creations.”
How long do you plan on keeping RubyCP online for?
“As long as possible between Revolution and I.”
Why should user/penguins choose RubyCP over other CPPS’es?
“RubyCP is a friendly and welcoming community and it has something for everybody: whether you like old or modern CP. We’ll be hosting some old parties and some newer, modern CP parties later down the line. We’re also looking into making our own parties as well. We’ll also make our support team capable and respond fast to requests.”
Are you and Revolution currently hiring staff for RubyCP? If so, Where can people apply?
“Yes, we’re looking for developers, marketers, designers and writers. We don’t need as many moderators at the moment but we will later on once the game grows. You can apply at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfjnehKtk7KNe2dHch9TRV6Jm42eYq8t0JdeFtm7KaYTOJ8yA/viewform?c=0&w=1&usp=send_form (we’re going to add a custom link later on for the Google Form).”
How long has RubyCP been alive for and what do you rate RubyCP out of 10?
“We’ve been working on RubyCP since April, I’d currently rate it a 7.5/10 as there are a few minor bugs that we need to sort out, like multiplayer games.”
Unfortunately, We ran out of time. Those were some great answers, I’d like to thank Ryan for taking the time off and answering these questions.
