BREAKING NEWS: CLUB PENGUIN EVOLVED DATABASE BREACH
- Club Penguin Evolved’s Discord Server was also hacked.
- The owner (Lowkey) has announced that the server will shut down forever.
- A second database leak has arisen, with more users affected by the breach.
- The CP Evolved website was defaced, with a message stating:
ALL DATA LINKED TO CPE HAS BEEN BREACHED!
Lowkey, stop reviving a dead CPPS. ALL CPE data will be leaked to the public if you attempt to rerelease.
Also, attempting to “hack” pixel / hiring people to dox is laughable
The NWO Team
We bring you news just in of a recent database leak on the CPPS, Club Penguin Evolved, a CPPS not yet featured on Speedy CPPSHQ. The server was still in its beta stages, awaiting public release.
A representative from Penguin Lounge has come forward with news on how the leak may have come reality, here is Zaseth:
We from Penguin Lounge have exclusive news! It seems that Club Penguin Evolved was running a backdoored source. A backdoor means that there’s a certain entrance (hence, backdoor) in the given product (in this case, a CPPS source). Hackers can use the backdoor to get into the system.
The leak contains usernames, email addresses, encrypted passwords & session IP address logins belonging to 41 user accounts.
Above is a censored snippet of the leaked database.
NWO has taken credit for this database breach.
Users on Twitter have already expressed their view of the server, here are what some had to say:
Club Penguin Evolved are yet to acknowledge or comment on the breach, but we will bring you more news when it comes.
